Choosing a modern, technology-based Islamic school with an international curriculum is a highly strategic choice and an investment in preparing a young generation to excel academically, spiritually, and technologically. A modern, technology-based Islamic school with a Cambridge international curriculum is not just a matter of prestige, but a necessity. Why?
Modern Islamic School
Choosing a modern Islamic school can be the right choice because it combines Islamic values with quality education that is relevant in the era of globalization. Why?
1. Integration of Religious and General Knowledge
As a modern Islamic school, ALMISBAH School not only focuses on religious studies (such as memorizing the Quran, Tawhid, Hadith, and Fiqh), but also teaches science, technology, English, and 21st-century skills. This helps students master worldly knowledge without neglecting their spiritual foundation.
2. Islamic Character Education
ALMISBAH School emphasizes the development of noble morals (such as honesty, responsibility, and caring) based on Islamic values. Students are taught to balance faith, knowledge, and good deeds.
3. Relevant Curriculum The ALMISBAH School curriculum is designed to answer the challenges of the times, such as:
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning integrated with Islamic ethics.
English language proficiency for global literacy.
4. Readiness to Face the Modern World
Students not only become Quran memorizers, but are also equipped with skills such as public speaking, leadership, and English.
Technology Based
Choosing a technology-based school is a crucial investment in preparing children for an increasingly digital world. Why?
1. Preparing Students for the Digital Future
The world of work and daily life are now influenced by AI,
big data, robotics, and automation. ALMISBAH School, as a technology-based school, equips students with the digital skills needed in this era.
2. More Effective and Interactive Learning Methods
The use of VR (Virtual Reality), AR (Augmented Reality), and gamification makes learning more engaging and easier to understand.
3. Increase Creativity & Problem-Solving
· Technology encourages students to innovate, such as by creating apps, robots, or creative content.
· STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)-based projects train logic and collaboration.
4. Wider Access to Learning Resources
· E-learning platforms (such as Google Classroom)
allow students to learn anytime, with up-to-date materials from around the world.
· Digital libraries and AI tutors
(such as ChatGPT for research)
enrich knowledge.
5. Reducing Competency Gaps
Technology-based schools ensure that children are not left behind in digital literacy, which is now a requirement in almost all professions.
6. Adaptive Environment and Personalized Learning
AI and data analytics help teachers monitor
individual student progress and then adjust teaching methods.
Students with different learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) can benefit from technological tools.
CAMBRIDGE International Curriculum
ALMISBAH School is based on the Cambridge International Curriculum. The Cambridge International Curriculum, developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), has several advantages that make it popular among international schools. Here are the main advantages:
1. Globally Recognized
The Cambridge curriculum is accepted by leading universities and employers
worldwide, including in the UK, US,
Australia, Canada, and Asia.
Qualifications such as the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and A-Level are recognized as evidence of academic excellence.
2. Flexibility and Choice of Subjects
Students can choose subjects according to their interests and talents, especially at the IGCSE (14-16 years) and A-Level (16-18 years).
3. Deep Learning Approach
The Cambridge curriculum encourages
conceptual understanding,
not just memorization.
Focuses on analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Cambridge exams assess students’ ability to apply knowledge, not just memorize facts.
4. Internationally Based but Locally Adaptable
· Curriculum content is designed for a global context but can be adapted to local cultures. · Schools in Indonesia can combine the Cambridge curriculum with national content (such as religious studies and civics).
5. Pathway to Higher Education
· A-Levels are recognized as the best preparation for university, especially in the UK and Commonwealth countries.
· High A-Level scores can grant course credits or exemptions at some universities.
6. Objective and Standardized Assessment
Cambridge exams are externally assessed by experienced examiners, ensuring consistent standards worldwide.
The assessment system is transparent and fair, without bias from school teachers.
7. 21st Century Skills Development
· The curriculum encourages the development of creativity, teamwork, digital literacy, and communication—essential skills in the modern world.
· Projects and assignments are often applied in nature, such as research and presentations.
ALMISBAH School uses the eTAHFIZ application
For Quran memorization (tahfiz) learning. The eTAHFIZ application features memorization targets, monitoring, review, and student achievement, as well as features for tahsin and memorization of dhikr, prayers, and hadith.
